One of the most important and also most misunderstood relationships between humans and the natural world is the horse-human relationship.  We have entered a time when people are searching for a better relationship with horses, a different relationship than they have experienced before.  The problem, however, is that modern society has forgotten what the horse-human relationship should and can be.  As with many human-nature encounters, the humans and horses are dissociated and disconnected from each other, and many times, we humans don’t even recognize when it’s happening.

This blog addresses some of the major issues facing the horse-human relationship today.  Because Tapestry operates out of Indigenous Earth-based worldview, The Voice of the Horse gives you the opportunity to learn about the world of horses from a perspective you have probably never experienced before.  Learn how the concepts of balance, centering, and connection are applied to the horse-human relationship in situations that don’t necessarily involve any kind of riding.
